2009

I didn't get see that many foreign artists last fall, but I'm planning to see some soon including Death Cab, Of Montreal, Earlimart and so on. I'm also hoping that Okkervil River will come to Japan. They said that they would at the Øya Festival in Norway, but I haven't heard anything more about it yet. Other bands that would have been great: Wolf Parade, the New Pornographers and Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin.

Some upcoming releases I'm looking forward too:

A.C. Newman - Get Guilty 1/20
Matt & Kim - Grand 1/20
Franz Ferdinand - Tonight 1/26
Handsome Furs - Face Control 2/3
sokabe keiichi - hoshi 2/6
Asobi Seksu - Hush 2/17
various - Dark Was the Night 2/17

A great line-up of artists and it's for a good cause (http://www.myspace.com/DarkWasTheNight)
kashiwa daisuke - 5 Dec 2/20

Neko Case - Middle Cyclone 3/3
Ogre You Asshole - pinhole 3/4
the Novembers - paraphilia 3/18
the Decemberists - the Hazards of Love 3/24

You can also download the first single off Neko Case's new album for free, and every time a blog reposts this track five dollars will be donated to the Best Friends Animal Society (read more abut it here). I think it's a really good track, so check it out.
